From Behen Hogi Teri to Bose; Rajkummar Rao's transformation is unmissable
Rajkummar Rao's transformation journey is amazing.
Rajkummar Rao has time and again proved his mettle through his dedication and acting skills. The actor has given us all the reasons to praise him and well, he is so dedicated that he can undergo weight loss and then weight gain for his projects. In Vikramaditya Motwane's Trapped, Rajkummar Rao for getting into the skin of the character shed a lot of weight.
Now, he has gone the Aamir Khan route and has gained 11 kgs for his web series, Bose. The actor took to Instagram and shared a picture which shows his transformation from Behen Hogi Teri to Bose. It's simply amazing to see his transformation. Rao also wrote, "#AnActorsLife #Building a character. From Behen Hogi Teri to Trapped to currently shooting for #Bose. Nothing gives me higher than preparing and living a character."
Not just did he gain weight, but also got a hair cut to give an authentic feel to the character of Subhash Chandra Bose. He shared his picture a while ago and wrote, "Got a haircut done for #Bose. We'll soon put out the first look as Bose. Until then, these r the post hair cut pictures.Thank U @AalimHakim."
In an earlier interview, talking about the role, he had said, "I am too scared right now. I have to finish Behen Hogi Teri and then get right into that zone to seriously start preparing for it. It is a huge responsibility to play Netaji. He is a national figure, people love him, I love him. It is very exciting. It's a web series. But the process is the same no matter if it's the web or a feature film."
Just a while back, Rajkummar shocked us when he played the role of a 324-year-old in Raabta. Director Dinesh Vijan said, "Rajkummar was kind enough to do me a favour. It was tedious but, he patiently sat through it every day. I think, the idea of the prosthetics making him completely unrecognizable excited him as an actor."
Rajkummar Rao goes an extra mile for each of his roles.
