Kangana Ranaut is clicked here during the promotions of her movie Rangoon. Kangana looked lovely in a red and blue striped dress, which she teamed brilliantly with nude sandals.
The actress has been promoting her movie for some time now along with co-stars Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, the project is a period film set during World War II. The movie has received decent reviews form critics and the audiences alike. All eyes were therefore on the box office to see how it will fare. Unfortunately, the film has gotten off to a rather slow start, as reported by trade experts.
Kangana blamed the lukewarm performance of the film on the makers for apparently cutting her scenes. She said, "I never thought people would appreciate my performance as many of my scenes were cut. They were important for my graph. When I came to know that a lot of my scenes were cut, my hopes were shattered. I thought people would just find my work average. But in spite of that people like it so much so I'm very happy."
During the course of the promotions, Kangana and Shahid have had a few exchange of harsh words. However, Shahid recently mentioned in an interview that Kangana should sort issues with her co-workers and work as a team. Kangana also mentioned that she loved the work of her co-stars in this ambitious film.
Time will tell if the movie will catch up at the box office.
