Kora's Riyasat - The Royal Indian Wedding Collection is vogue, extravagant yet eternal and royal!
Kora is a leading design label for men's couture and bespoke clothing. I got a chance to have a look at their recent collection Riyasat - The Royal Indian Wedding Collection and I have to admit that it is every bit as vogue, extravagant yet eternal and royal! The event took place last night in Ahmedabad.
The entire collection was conceptualized for Maharajas. They managed to bring a contemporary twist of the present generation while getting inspiration from Royalty.
From the impressive colour palettes to detailed embroideries, each outfit created to capture the magic and surrealism of festivities and fun, during wedding celebrations. The Sherwani's and Bandhgalas were to die for and were modern and contemporary.
Along with the models walking the runway, the guests and I witnessed an amazing performance by singer Ronkini Gupta while we were also visually treated with a classical dance performance which was choreographed by Sameer and Arsh Tanna.
The surprising element, however, had to be when corporate honchos like Mr. Sukhbir Bagga, MD, Group Planet Petal, Mr. Jinesh Shah, ED, Torrent Group, Chiranjiv Patel, MD, P.C Snehal Group and Mr. Chitrak Shah, MD Shivalik Group walked the ramp.
When I spoke to Nilesh and Mitesh who were behind the amazing collection, Nilesh piped in, "We are glad to present our latest wedding collection ‘Riyasat’ in Ahmedabad. We endeavor to take a slice of India’s magical royal era and have our loyal customers treasure it forever. The collection is inspired by long drawn tradition, something that has been passed down by our descendants and taking the legacy of exquisiteness ahead."
While Mitesh added, "This is not just about clothes and fineries. It is about making memories and playing your part in history. The collection is inspired by a royal gathering which depicts colours and traditional music which has elegance and vibrancy. This collection is our labour of love made so brilliantly that they ensure that you want us to be part of your loving memories and special moments as well."
