Ajay Devgn felicitated with the CII Excellence Award in Cinema

Actor Ajay Devgn was honored with the CII Excellence Award in Cinema, in New Delhi on Monday.

While addressing a session at the 4^th edition of CII Big Picture Summit 2015, Ajay said, "I don't intend to join politics. Not at all. It's not my cup of tea.” The actor also tweeted about this honour writing, “Honoured to be awarded the CII Award for Excellence in Cinema.” Though he has no interest in joining politics, the actor attended a political rally in Bihar amid the state assembly polls.

Ajay Devgn was felicitated at the opening day of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) summit by Sudhanshu Vats, chairman, CII National Committee on Media and Entertainment and Group CEO, Viacom 18 Media Pvt. Ltd.

Last seen in ‘Drishyam’, Ajay is prepping up for his two releases in next coming two years - Shivaay which is planned for a Diwali 2016 release and ‘Sons of Sardaar’, which is planned for Diwali 2017.
