The nine-day Hindu festival of Navratri has already begun and the craze of dandiya nights is all over the streets of Gujarat and Mumbai. Be it garba nights or dandiya ras, Navratri brings in happiness and you see people dressing up and going to pandals for pooja and garba.

As we say, any occasion is 'thanda' without that Bollywood tadka. Shubhaarambh from Kai Po Che is one of the songs which will give you the perfect Gujarati feel. Sung by Shruti Pathak and Divya Kumar and composed by Amit Trivedi, Shubhaarambh has a brilliant display of vibrant colours and Garba Ras has been captured really beautifully.

Rangi par ud aavee, Khushiyon sang laavee, Harkhaye haiyo haaye..haaye, Aasha ni kirano bikhraaye, Umange vi chhalkaaye, Man halvethi gungunaaye, Haaye, haaye, haaye, haaye..Hey shubhaarambh, Ho Shubhaarambh, Mangal bela aayi - lyrics also add to the Gujarati flavour of the song.

If you are a music buff, the song has a buffet of instruments to offer to. You would fall in love with the tunes of dhol, harmonium and naal. Going by the setting of the song, you see Rajkummar Rao and Amrita Puri dancing their heart out on these addictive dhol beats. In the last scenes, the two are seen falling in the love with each other.

Coming to the film, Kai Po Che is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur. It is based on Chetan Bhagat's novel The 3 Mistakes of My Life. The movie is based on the life pf three friends growing up in India at the turn of the millennium setting out to open a training academy to produce the country's next cricket stars. Apart from Rajkummar and Amrita, the film also stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Amit Sadh.
