Vidya Balan starts every year with a joyous occasion as she celebrates her birthday on January 1. This year the talented actor celebrated her 40th birthday and she had a retro-themed party hosted by her husband and producer Siddharth Roy Kapur. The actor looked beautiful in a retro look and was seen posing with her family and friends at the bash. Now, on her 40th year, Vidya has become the cover girl for the latest issue of Filmfare magazine.

The leading magazine's official Instagram page shared the cover and Vidya looked amazing in a faux fur outfit. Even on the cover, she gave immense retro vibes and how! Filmfare captioned the cover stating, "Sugar and spice! @balanvidya looks like a complete stunner on the latest cover of #Filmfare." About Vidya, the cover says, "40 is the new sexy, Vidya Balan on growing more desirable"

Meanwhile, on the work front, Vidya will be debuting in Telugu film industry with two films which are a franchise - N.T.R: Kathanayakudu and N.T.R: Mahanayakudu. She also has Mission Mangal co-starring Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu and Nithya Menen.
