LOSE MV: Wonho taps into the emotional tapestry of love, loss and heartbreak in this sensuous song

Friday equals new music & we are here for it! On February 26, Wonho released the title track titled Lose from his 1st mini album part 2 Love Synonym 2: Right for Us. Wonho aka Lee Ho Seok has been actively pursuing his solo career since his heartbreaking departure from MONSTA X. Wonho is not only a soulful vocalist but also a masterful dancer and skilled music producer. He made his debut as a soloist on September 4, 2020, with the mini-album Part.1 Love Synonym, and since then he has been actively releasing new music.

Lose illustrates the journey of a man, who loses the one he loves, suffers a massive heartbreak, but eventually, overcomes the trauma and is reborn again. The music video begins with Wonho, we see the Wonho who is sitting in a room full of vinyl players and cassettes. Wonho's divine vocals greet our ears, as he performs an intricate dance choreography, soaked in water. His face, bruised with red marks, as Wonho teeters between love, loss and heartbreak, between past and present. He is holding onto his lover, battling between the choice of letting go versus suffering in love. His formidable abs on display, as he portrays the vulnerabilities of his inner turmoil, beautifully. The visuals are captivating accompanied by a stylish dance choreography. The retro, electronic dance number complements the catchy beats of the song.
