In this week's Monday Night RAW, Stephanie McMahon made an interesting revelation regarding the WrestleMania 35 main event featuring Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Read below for more details.
Yesterday, WWE had announced that Stephanie McMahon will be making a very important announcement on Monday Night RAW regarding WrestleMania 35. It was indeed an intriguing announcement as it was about the main event featuring Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. For the uninitiated, it will be the first time that the women of WWE will be headlining WrestleMania. This is indeed a history-making feat for the women wrestlers, who have been breaking one barrier after the other.
As she opened the show, Stephanie went on to reveal that not only will Ronda defend her RAW Women's Championship at WrestleMania 35, but also Charlotte too will be defending her Smackdown Women's Championship during the main event. That's right! It will be a 'winner takes all' match thus unifying the two championships. It was during an episode of Smackdown where former champion Asuka defended the title against Charlotte and came up short, just like their WrestleMania 34 bout. Many had a problem with this decision and let their disgruntle be known on Twitter.
Post the announcement, Stephanie set up a tag-team match which saw the WrestleMania 35 main event contenders fight the Riott Squad.
The trio won the match but began brawling amongst themselves and had to be arrested by cops. While inside the same cop car, Becky and Ronda went back to fighting which led to shattered mirrors as well.
