WATCH: Avengers: Endgame stars weigh in on Chris Evans aka Captain America with or without a beard
During a press conference in LA for Avengers: Endgame, co-stars like Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo were asked to weigh in on Chris Evans aka Captain America with or without a beard. Check out below to know their reactions.
We are 18 days away from the release of the biggest film of this decade, Avengers: Endgame. Starring all our favourite MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) superheroes, Avengers: Endgame looks into the after-effects of Thanos' deadly snap that wiped out half the universe in Avengers: Infinity War (2018). The cast is currently in Los Angeles where they kicked off the promotional tour and recently, a press conference was held with the remaining Avengers. As an ode to the ones lost in Infinity War, empty chairs were kept in their honour.
During the fun press conference, the Avengers bond was seen to be very strong in real-life. From playing Boggle together to attending Paul Rudd's 50th birthday bash, we loved to see the Avengers cast reunite and have some fun. An interesting question asked during the PC was aimed at Chris Evans aka Captain America and more specifically, about his trademark beard. The Avengers cast was asked to weigh in on whether Captain America looked better with a beard or without one.

The ones in favour of the beard were Evans himself, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Brie Larson, Don Cheadle and The Russo Brothers (Joe Russo, Anthony Russo). The ones who preferred a clean-shaven Cap were Paul Rudd, Danai Gurira, Karen Gillan and Kevin Feige.
#AvengersEndgame press day! Love being with these incredible people
Robert Donwey Jr. revealed that he liked both and gave us major Stony feels. RDJ joked about how he likes a bearded Chris covered in prosthetics to make it look like he didn't have one. This happened on the sets of The Avengers (2012) during the famous end-credits shawarma scene as Chris was also shooting for Snowpiercer (2014), which required him to have a beard.
Avengers: Endgame is slated for an April 26, 2019 release.
