Terminator: Dark Fate: James Cameron & Tim Miller clashed over the final edit of Arnold Schwarzenegger starrer
Avatar director James Cameron is serving as one of the producers of Terminator: Dark Fate and has revealed in his latest interview that he and director Tim Miller had some issues regarding the final edit of the film.
If there’s someone responsible for the success of Terminator franchise then it is none other than James Cameron. But, he's indeed the one responsible for the decline of this franchise over the years. Well, finally after a long wait Terminator: Dark Fate has made its way out in theaters with Deadpool director Tim Miller. Recently, in an interview, James Cameron revealed that there were some clashes during the process of the final edit of the film between him and Tim.
Well, it’s not the first time we are hearing the news of creative clashes in a Terminator movie. Cameron had a word with Collider recently and talked about the price film paid because of those clashes as he said, “I would say many. And the blood is still being scrubbed off the walls from those creative battles. This is a film that was forged in fire. So yeah, but that's the creative process, right? I mean, my work with Robert on Alita was very different. Robert loved the script, loved everything, said, 'I just want to make this movie. I want to make the movie the way you see it.' I was like, ‘No, you got to make it your movie.’”
“I had the reverse experience with Tim, which is Tim wanted to make it his movie. And I'm like, ‘Yeah, but I kind of know a little about this world.’ So I had the matter and the anti-matter version of that producorial experience,” Cameron concluded in his statement.
Well, so far the start of Terminator: Dark Fate at the box office is motivating. If you have seen the film then do tell us about your experience in our comments section down below.
