Four years later in 2019, he and Camila recorded ‘Senorita’. Both the singers then confirmed they are dating and that it is not a publicity stunt.

He was also on Times list of ‘25 Most Influential Teens of 2014.’ Mendes learned to play guitar via YouTube tutorial at the age of 14. Mendes has also been doing a lot of social work.
