The action-packed NXT TakeOver: New York which was held in Barclays Center in Brooklyn was one eventful night and many even touted the same as great even before the WrestleMania 35. Let us have a look at the all the winners and losers of the matches.
1. NXT Tag Team Championship Match: War Raiders defeated Aleister Black and Ricochet. The War Raiders retains their NXT Tag Team Championships as they won the match. After the match, they received a standing ovation and later they bowed to the crowd as well.
2. NXT North American Championship Match: Velveteen Dream defeated Matt Riddle. Velveteen Dream entered in a style as he was dressed up as the Statue of Liberty. After the match, they should mutual respect for each other.
3. United Kingdom Championship Match: WALTER defeated Pete Dunne. Theirs was the one of the interesting matches as WALTER and Dunne exchanged hard blows during their bout.
4. Fatal Four-way for the NXT Women’s Championship: Shayna Baszler vs Bianca BelAir vs Kairi Sane vs Io Shirai. In this whistle-worthy match, Shayna Baszler defeated all. BelAir did her best but Shayna stole the show and retained her the NXT Women's Championship.
5. 2-out-of-3 Falls Match for the NXT Championship: Adam Cole vs Johnny Gargano. Johnny Gargano beat Adam in the exciting match. After this win, Gargano becomes the 15th NXT Champion and the first NXT triple crown winner.
Tommaso Ciampa showed up after the match to make things merrier. He hugged Gargano, and raised Gargano and Candice LeRae’s hands as well.
