Sony Pictures has raised the creepiest toast for Halloween when they released the first look of their hair-raising reboot ‘The Grudge’. The film is directed by Nicolas Pesce, the man behind ‘Eyes of My Mother’ and ‘Piercing’. Besides him, there are some other notable names too in the crew list, such as Sam Raimi, Robert Tapert, and Takashige Ichise. The cult classic will feature Andrea Riseborough, John Cho and Betty Gilpin in lead roles.

The trailer of the reboot is getting a lot of rave reviews all over the internet. The reboot of the film was announced in 2011. But, principal photography was started last year in May. The reason for such a big gap is the conflict in-between the studio over the scripting of the project. Well now, we have the first trailer of this much-awaited reboot and it is indeed spine-chilling.
