Just when you think that’s the scariest it can get, the Grudge franchise comes up with a new movie and proves you wrong! An all-new trailer for The Grudge reboot has dropped and it is your worst nightmare squeezed into a three-minute-long video. Just to warn you, it's not suitable for the faint-hearted! An old lady covered in blood, a rotting corpse and creepy ghosts, the trailer is loaded with disturbingly eerie supernatural things.   

The trailer opens with Andrea Riseborough’s detective Muldoon entering, what soon turns out to be the house of horrors that neither she nor you are ready to deal with and confronts a disoriented old woman who is covered in blood who is asking to be fed. And everything that happens after that is sheer terror. The detective soon finds out that the woman’s fingers have been cut off, following which, she spots the rotting corpse and everything that is disturbingly wrong in that house. The mystery behind the chopped fingers is revealed in the following sequence where the lady can be seen placing her hand on the cutting board and cutting off her own fingers with a knife.

The trailer also features a shower scene that will effectively ruin your shower time experience for at least a while till you find a way to recover from the horror. What starts as a harmless scene featuring John Cho taking a shower, instantly turns into the scariest part of the trailer when the iconic black-haired girl from the original Grudge slowly appears from her bathtub.

In addition to all this, the trailer is packed with a creepy laugh sequence, background score complimenting the feel of the film, suspense and most of all, fear. Starring Lin Shaye, Andrea Riseborough, John Cho and Betty Gilpin in the lead roles, the film is scheduled to release on Jan. 3, 2020.
