Goldberg takes Drew McIntyre's name while reacting to The Undertaker's comment about WWE product being 'soft'
During a recent interview, Goldberg shared his honest reaction to The Undertaker's recent comment about WWE's current product being "soft."
"I just think the product is a little soft. There's obviously guys here and there that have an edge to them, but there's too much pretty and not enough substance I think right now," The Undertaker had confessed during his appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast which sparked a major debate not just within the WWE Universe but amongst wrestlers as well.
From those who reacted to The Undertaker's shocking remarks was Goldberg, who will be taking on WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at Royal Rumble 2021. During an appearance on Corey Graves' podcast After The Bell via Sportskeeda, Goldberg admitted that he agrees with Taker on the fact that compared to his era, WWE's current product is "soft." However, the 54-year-old wrestler stated that the business is in 2021 and hence, things have to change and be different. Goldberg recalled how they used to have "mega superstars" who were bigger than life but it's hard for the current generation, seemingly, to be able to build such people.
"There are a couple of people who have made it beyond relying upon the public to do that, and they forced their way up and they’ve earned their spot. Drew McIntyre is one of them," Goldberg acknowledged his Royal Rumble 2021 opponent.
