Maisie Williams aka Arya Stark pulled out a prank on her fans by dropping a huge spoiler about the upcoming eighth season of Game of Thrones on Jimmy Fallon's talk show.
Game Of Thrones fans desperately wait for the makers to drop hints about the final season of the show. Who will have the throne at the end? Will it be Daenerys? Or a Lannister? Or will the dead be ruling? Well, all the secrets will open after the premiere on April 14. Earlier, HBO released a thrilling trailer too. All the major characters of the previous seasons like Tyrion Lannister, Ser Jorah Mormont, Missandei, Grey Worm, Samwell Tarly, Bran Stark, Brienne of Tarth and Podrick, were seen in the video.
Recently, Maisie Williams akka Arya Stark appeared as a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and dropped a huge spolier. However, she claimed it to be an April Fools prank later on. Jimmy asked Maisie to spill the beans about the eighth season, the actor said that HBO has asked all of them to say nothing. “I have decided to keep tight-lipped about everything. HBO has sent out a lot of memos recently about just saying nothing. There is really nothing I can say, they would absolutely kill me," she said.
However, she started talking about how it was difficult to say goodbyes, when the show was about to end. And in a moment, she said, "Because when I found out that Arya died in the second episode....” and everyone went silent on the set. Just after that, Williams started panicking and asking Fallon if the show was live or it can be edited. Later on, she revealed that it was just a prank. The viewers appreciated her convincing skills and rolled on the floor laughing.
