Avengers: Endgame: 5 Movies to binge watch before the mega MCU film
Before April 26, 2019, which is the release date of MCU's (Marvel Cinematic Universe) biggest film to date - Avengers Endgame, here are 5 movies you have to binge-watch!
For an MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) fan, Avengers: Endgame is the pinnacle of all things awesome. After going on a decade-long journey with the Avengers, dating back to Iron Man (2008), we are finally nearing the ENDGAME; quite literally. Starring Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and others, Avengers: Endgame looks into the after-effects of the Thanos snap, which rid away half the universe in Avengers: Infinity War. The remaining superheroes will do all it takes to undo the snap.
As we near the release date, i.e. April 26, 2019, many would want to binge-watch all the movies (for the 'enth time or for the first time). However, given our super busy lives, watching all of them might be quite difficult. But fear not! We've got you covered. 1. The Avengers (2012)
If Iron Man kickstarted the MCU journey, The Avengers helped solidify the universe. The introduction to the OG 6 (Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye) was badass beyond belief and we can all agree, there isn't a more charismatic villain than Loki.
2. Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
This movie is a must watch to get a better introduction of characters like Thanos, Star-Lord and Gamora, all of whom play a key role in Infinity War and Endgame.
3. Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
You can't miss out on the Avengers franchise to really enjoy Endgame. This MCU film introduces artificial intelligence and digs deeper into the cracks amongst the OG 6 while also introducing key players like Scarlett Witch and Vision.
4. Captain America: Civil War (2017)
Tony Stark vs Steve Rogers! In what could be considered as a mini-Avengers reunion, the Russo Brothers gave us a glimpse into what we can expect when a number of superheroes collide. The end result was magnificent.
5. Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
Thanos' deadly snap was one of the WTF moments in MCU which left us breathless. This MCU movie laid the tracks for Endgame and showed us just how deadly Thanos is!
