Much to the excitement of the Indian MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) fans, Joe Russo, director of Avengers: Endgame (along with Anthony Russo, The Russo Brothers) is in India to promote the upcoming movie starring the likes of Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans. Besides enjoying a hearty meal of a thali and interacting with Avengers fans, the director is also talking things about Indian cinema and more. In a recent interview with PTI, the director made a very interesting revelation which will intrigue the die-hard fans of South superstar, Rajinikanth.
According to Joe, the ending of Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) was supposed to be inspired by Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Robot (2010) aka Enthiran. Joe revealed to PTI, "Robot almost influenced the climatic moments in Avengers: Age of Ultron. In one of the final scenes, all the Ultrons were supposed to form a large Ultron and Avengers were set to fight that but the sequence got cut for time. It was this close. I was inspired directly by Robot."
