Angelina Jolie is trying hard but is struggling to let go of resentment towards her ex Brad Pitt over their failed marriage. It was in September 2016 when the couple announced that they were heading for splitsville.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were once the hottest power couple in Hollywood, who began their romance in 2005. However, in 2016, a shocking announcement was made that Brangelina was heading for splitsville, and not on amicable terms. It's been almost three years since then and the divorce proceeding continues on. The main reason for the stalling is the custody battle of their six children - Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and ten-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
According to Hollywood Life, Angelina Jolie is trying her best but struggling to let go of the resentment she strongly feels towards her ex. The actress wants to move on to a place filled with healing, love and forgiveness when it comes to her relationship and failed marriage with Brad, for the sake of their children. "But she feels that she often put her career aside so that Brad could follow projects that he was passionate about. She feels largely responsible for much of his success and acquired wealth while they were together," the source added.
Because of this, Angelina wants everything between the ex-couple to be distributed equally as she wants to protect herself and her children as well, in spite of understanding Brad's frustration.
