Bollywood's power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh threw a grand party for all the friends and well wishers from the industry in continuation with their celebrations post wedding. The couple got hitched at Lake Como, Italy on November 14 in a Konkani wedding followed by a Sindhi wedding the next day. Their Bollywood party was attended by the who's and who of Bollywood including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Varun Dhawan, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Farhan Akhtar, MS Dhoni, Kapil Dev, Rajkummar Rao, Vicky Kaushal and more.
However, the one couple which everyone desperately waited for and who did not turn up was Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, given the history attached. The duo was invited for the reception, however, before we assume the worst, let us clarify that their busy schedule kept the duo away from attending the all nighter. Pinkvilla has learnt that Alia and Ranbir along with Ayan Mukerji did a 20 hour shift for Brahmastra on Saturday and hence couldn't make it for the bash. Well, we do know that the couple has been shooting day in and out for the sci-fi thriller.
That also puts all the speculations and worries to an end. Meanwhile, Alia has been juggling between shooting for Kalank and Brahmastra of late. In Kalank, the actor is paired alongside Varun Dhawan. Speaking of Ayan, he has directed both Ranbir and Deepika in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and hence we are sure his presence was surely missed.
