EXCLUSIVE: Tiger Shroff on Munna Michael - There was no need of breaking the ice with Nidhhi Agerwal
In an interview, Tiger Shroff gets candid about his upcoming film, Munna Michael.
Tiger Shroff - humble, polite and a gentleman character - all these adjectives suit the actor the best. He made his debut with Heropanti and since then has been in headlines. Junior Shroff will be seen in Munna Michael and it's his third collaboration with director Sabbir Khan and the movie also features Sana Saeed, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
We got a chance to meet the actor for a small conversation. Ask him about how challenging was it shooting for the film, he told us, "Very challenging, especially the dance sequences as they were intense and were pretty hard on the body but I expect nothing as we are paying a tribute to Michael Jackson."
He has been paired opposite Nidhhi Agerwal who will be making her making her Bollywood debut with the film. Was there any need of breaking the ice between the two? Tiger, with a smile on his face, responded, "We were comfortable since the day 1 and I totally understand from where she is coming from. I should share my experiences with her and make her feel comfortable. There was no need of breaking the ice with her as such."
Munna Michael's song Swag featuring Tiger Shroff and Nawazuddin Siddiqui was in news for the reason that the former helped the latter to learn dance steps. We asked him how was it working with Nawaz, to which he which he responded, "He was initially scared, but you know he is such a fantastic actor and he is hardworking so he used to be after each step like 10,000 times until he finally got them right. The funny thing with Nawaz was that he could get difficult steps easily and used to find easy steps a little difficult."
As it's his third collaboration with director Sabbir Khan, he said the relationship between the two has matured over time. Shroff added, "It has matured over time and it's become closer. Heropanti - we should be like a teacher and student and with Baaghi we got more chilled out like friends."
He will be seen giving a tribute to his father, Jackie Shroff. On these lines, he said, "That's amazing. I am getting to give tribute to two of my heroes - one my father and one of course Michael Jackson."
Tiger will also be seen in Baaghi 2 opposite rumoured girlfriend Disha Patani. We asked him about working with Disha, to which he said, "I haven't started shooting for Baaghi 2 yet. We share a special bond - it's very easy to be around with her so chemistry will come naturally." Do the speculations of dating each other affect him or Disha? He said, "I don't really read the papers, I don't know about her."
The actor's bag in full of projects - he also has Rambo in his hand. Will he able to justify the role of Sylvester Stallone? Talking about it, he said, "There is huge pressure. A lot of goodwill is there, all thanks to Sylvester Stallone and he even tweeted and blessed her. I don't think anyone can replace him, but I would definitely pay him the biggest tribute."
As only two days are left for the release of the film, we asked him are there any sort of jitters? "I think we are pretty confident about the film," Tiger said and signed off.
