EXCLUSIVE: Is Aankhen 2 in legal trouble? Amitabh Bachchan talks about the whole issue
There were reports stating that the Aankhen sequel had run into legal trouble with producer Gaurang Doshi being slapped with a Contempt of Court order and also that the cast members of the film had been served notices.
Tarun Agarwal of Rajtaru Studios Limited had questioned how Doshi can make Aankhen 2 when they had acquired the rights of the 2002 film Aankhen from him years back. However, his lawyer Bobby Malhotra says Doshi has purchased the rights from Eros International media by paying a substantial consideration. When we asked Big about it, he said, "I read it somewhere. Well, that's the producer's call and in the court, lawyers will handle."
Aankhen 2 is a sequel to the 2002 heist thriller drama film, which was directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah.
