Jesse Randhawa is a Ramp Model. This Ms India Runner Up is undoubtedly she's the queen bee of style and fashion. Having sizzled on the ramp donning clothes of the messiahs of the fashion designing fraternity, today she's earned a reputation of her own due to her excellent presentation.

Needless to say her curves and toned body can give any model a run for her money.

What is your philosophy on food and health?
Eat healthy, live wise. Never abuse your body by smoking, drinking excessively or taking drugs. Have fun, and who ever said to have fun you have to be notorious.

Going by your perfect figure, it seems you are a fitness freak.
I guess it's more of a genetic or hormonal thing with me. Right from childhood I have never had the tendency to put on kilos. I do exercise but not like a freak. I believe Yoga and Pilates have helped me maintain.

What do you eat during the day?
When there is work at hand, I hardly think of feeding myself. There have been times when I have fasted unknowingly. But usually my lunches consist of a light meal. I go for few ghee three chapattis, a vegetable, a dal and definitely loads of salads. If possible I down it with good fruit juice.

Do hectic working schedules play havoc with your system?
Work is the best health therapy. Of course one cannot ignore one's hunger pangs, one should not also, but work keeps me fit. I cannot imagine not working. So when you love your work so much, you can compromise on some front. I think my system has got used to irregular intakes of food by now.

But whenever I can, I manage to stick to a regime.

Do you binge on food?
No, I don't. I guess I have enough self restraint to go berserk on food.

What is your all time favourite food?
Home made food because that is slowly becoming the most rare variety for me. Anything made tastefully at home is a delight. I am very fond of Baingan Ka Bharta.

How do you rejuvenate?
A good body massage or a soothing pedicure helps me. Exercising is also a wonderful form of relaxation.

What is your advice on food and fitness for the health conscious?
In our super charged times, we tend to ignore health the most but we forget that it is vital to our well being. If you do not forget to eat or rest, how can you forget fitness and exercising? Make it a part of your everyday schedule and watch the difference.

If you were to write a book on one health related topic, what would it be?
I would want to write about anorexia, a growing eating disorder amongst the youth and women today. To stay fit and look wonderful, you don't have to starve yourself. Eat properly -three times a day, and burn the excess fat by exercising.

Anorexia is a very unhealthy trend which needs to be curbed.
