These 12 Bollywood costumes are so frightful that they are just perfect for a Halloween look!

“Shadows of a thousand years rise again unseen, voices whisper in the trees, tonight is Halloween!’ So it is that time of the year when everything so unnaturally turns spooky. And while you might be fancying yourself in the scariest outfit, we bet you couldn’t have thought about these dreadful costumes worn by Bollywood stars.

1. Amrita Singh

Your eyes might bleed and you are sure to scare the hell out of someone in this attire on a Halloween night. Amrita wore this one as she played the role of Princess Suryalekha in a flop movie Suryavanshi.  Any guesses why the movie could not do well at the box office?!

2. Karisma Kapoor

We know Karisma as an evergreen fashionista and probably a trendsetter in many ways. However, there was a time when she herself was a fashion victim.  You ask why? Doesn’t this appearance of the 90’s star from her movie Khuddar rubber-stamp it?!

3. Amitabh Bachchan

This is Big B’s outfit from Jhoom Barabar Jhoom and we have no clue what the costume designer was on! Does it not look like a far-fetched version of Jack Sparrow?

4. Salman Khan

We get it, okay, we get it that there are ups and downs in life. But what Salman did in Suryavanshi is unforgivable. But, well on second thoughts, isn’t this going to be a perfect Halloween look? A little golden hair here and there and a sword and you get a petrifying version of desi ‘He-Man.’ 

5. Amrish Puri

As kids, we remember this veteran actor terrorising us to the core with his get-ups as Mogambo in Mr India, Dong in Tehelka or Bhairon Nath in Nagina. But look at these costumes now- a black and golden suit, unkempt hair and an animated laugh-these should definitely work the trick. 

6. Rekha

Rekha with her gorgeous sarees is always a treat to watch! However, there was a time when this beautiful actress was going through a fashion crisis. But this is indeed a brilliant idea for a Halloween costume- a weird headgear and a lot, LOT and a lot of glitters- are the only things you need.  

7. Urmila  Matondkar

X-Men nails, an over-the-top outrageous crown and thorough golden attire, this look of Urmila from Chota Chetan is a complete disaster. But well, it is Halloween, and we need to put up a horror show! 

8. Dharmendra

This is what bizarre fashion looks like! Dharmendra has treated us with many blockbusters but this talented actor has also scarred us with this look from Dharam Veer. And now look at a brighter side, isn’t this costume too comfortable to be worn on Halloween, when others try to fit in elaborate and body-fit ones? 

9. Kangana Ranaut

This look of Kangana from Krissh 3 will take certainly take a lot to reproduce. But look at the positive side, you’ll be a killer in this one! No, we really mean it, A KILLER! 

10. Priyanka Chopra & Harman Baweja

If you are a couple and haven’t been able to zero down on anything, pick this look of Priyanka and Harman from Love Story 2050 first hand. Red hair, glitter around eyes, dreadful headband and somebody wearing this Harman Baweja’s costume! Isn’t this why Halloween is meant to be?!

11. Shakti Kapoor

Shakti as Crime Master Gogo from Andaz Apna Apna is the classic spookiest costume you can pull off. Don’t believe us? “Crime master Gogo naam hai mera. Aankhen nikaal kar gotiyaan khelta hoon main,” heard anything creepier than this one? Eh! 

12. Madhuri Dixit

This gorgeous actress as far as we remember hasn’t participated in a pageant. And so we wonder why that crown then. But let us just walk past it and pick this gem for our cringe-worthy Halloween appearance.
