Check Out: Break-Ups and Make-Ups of 2015!

2015 not only saw a number of love stories bloom in the world of Bollywood but also saw some old bonds fade away. If it gave news of the impending marriages in 2016, it also broke news of relationships breaking apart. So here we are with a list of some of the break-ups and make-ups from Bollywood this year -

Break-Ups of 2015

Karisma Kapoor & Sanjay Kapur

The trouble in Karisma Kapoor and Sanjay Kapur’s marriage has been in news since a number of years and even though the couple had filed for a divorce in 2014, it was not able to go through because the two could not offer mutual consent regarding the trust being set up for their children - Samara and Kiaan. The divorce proceedings were then extended over to 2015 and though it seemed like the couple would finally officially separate, old and new issues regarding finances have cropped up once again leading to a further delay.

Anurag Kashyap & Kalki Kochlin

The director-actor couple of Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin got divorced after 4 years of marriage. Even though the couple had applied for a divorce in October 2014, the proceedings were finalised in May this year. Although many rumours pointed towards Anurag’s alleged bond with another actress as the reason behind the divorce, all the three involved in the news denied it vehemently. But even after the official end of their marriage, Anurag and Kalki remain good friends. 

Ranvir Shorey & Konkona Sen Sharma

Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen Sharma announced the end of their five year marriage earlier this year. However the two off beat actors continue to remain great friends with Ranvir in fact being a part of Konkona’s directorial debut which she has already started work on. The two also have a son together whom they have decided to co-parent.

Abhay Deol & Preeti Desai

The stunning couple Abhay Deol and Preeti Desai broke up earlier this year. Though both have chosen to remain silent on the end of their relationship and the reasons behind it, Abhay did state in the media that the two remain friends.

Pulkit Samrat & Shweta Rohira

The marriage of these two young lovebirds struck a stormy weather just a year after the two tied the knot. Though many rumours suggest its Pulkit’s alleged relationship with actor Yami Gautam, his co-star from his latest film, Pulkit and Yami have always denied the allegations. When Shweta was asked about the reason behind their separation, she stated that Pulkit had said that he was separating from her because of his family. Pulkit, on his part, had recently stated that he and Shweta had not discussed any plans of reconciliation yet. 

Make-Ups of 2015

Shahid & Mira Kapoor

Shahid Kapoor surprised everyone when he got married to Delhi girl Mira Rajput earlier this year but since then the two seem to be inseparable, quickly becoming everyone’s favourite B-Town couple! The two often post pictures with each other with super cute captions and are almost always spotted holding each other’s hands at events! While Shahid seems to be smitten by his newly wedded wife, we are smitten with this totally adorable couple!

Anushka Sharma & Virat Kohli

Although rumours of the two dating had begun a while back, this year saw the confirmation of the same by the cricketing star and the Bollywood diva. Virat and Anushka are often spotted cheering for each other and have more than once come to each other’s defence; specially when Anushka was blamed for Virat’s poor performance in a few cricket matches the actress had attended. The two made sure to shut down their critics and have been going strong.

Bipasha Basu & Karan Singh Grover

Rumours of Bipasha and Karan dating each other surfaced while the two were promoting their film Alone and have been going strong since but neither of the two stars have ever confirmed the relationship. However the two have often been spotted partying together and attending functions together. Bipasha was also seen cheering Karan’s new film Hate Story 3.

Yuvraj Singh & Hazel Keech

This jodi of cricketer Yuvraj Singh and actor Hazel Keech surprised one and all when they announced their engagement earlier this year with a post on their social media accounts! Since then the two have been spotted together at many events and gatherings and look super adorable together!

Asin & Rahul Sharma

The two had always kept mum about their relationship but ever since they announced their engagement earlier this year, they have not only been spotted together at many events but have also opened up about their bond with each other in front of the media. Asin and her businessman beau Rahul, who had none other than Akshay Kumar playing cupid for them, are all set to tie the knot in January 2016!

Other notable mentions in the make-up list are couples like Kunal Khemu and Soha Ali Khan who tied the knot earlier this year as well as the newly weds Kunal Kapoor and Naina Bachchan, Shreya Ghoshal and Shiladitya Mukopadhyaya and also the super cute couple Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra who tied the knot just recently.
