EXCLUSIVE: Ranveer Singh Deepika Padukone Wedding: The actress cried during the Anand Karaj ceremony

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding happened two days back, but the hangover of it still continues. The much-in-love couple took the web world by storm when they shared the glimpses of their two weddings - one performed in the traditional Konkani style and the other as per Punjabi rituals, on social media. Now, the couple is all set to host a grand reception in Bengaluru on November 21, followed by two receptions in Mumbai, one on November 28 and the other one on December 1.

While the preperations for the wedding receptions is going on in full swing, Pinkvilla has got to know about some cute details from the Punjabi wedding that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone had. When Deepika and Ranveer were taking the pheras, the actress got extremely emotional and so did her father - Prakash Padukone. The two were later consoled by Ranveer, who tried to make the situation light.

Informs a source present at the wedding, "Deepika Padukone got emotional during the shabad ceremony. Harshdeep Kaur was singing Ik Onkar live during the pheras. During the last phera, Deepika and her father got emotional and tears couldn't stop rolling their eyes. The father-daughter hugged each other and cried and no one interrupted the two. After a few seconds, Ranveer, who was right by Deepika's side, went and hugged his father-in-law and promised to take care of his daughter. He also hugged Deepika and kissed her on the forehead. Everyone was hooting and cheering for the couple when this happened."

And then during Anand Karaj too she cried may be listening to the beautiful chants of Ik Onkar. Initially, she controlled, but when she saw her dad teary eyed, she couldn't stop herself. But the good thing was that it was such a beautiful moment and the actress, like any other girl, was fighting those emotions of bidaai.
