BTS make HISTORY as the only K Pop act to get featured in Esquire's list of 10 Best Pop Bands of All Time
BTS was the only K-Pop and Asian group to get featured alongside legendary western groups like The Beatles and Queen in Esquire's list.
The pandemic may have wreaked havoc in everyone's collective lives, but even the deadly COVID-19 couldn't put a full stop to BTS' never-ending achievements. In 2020, the Bangtan Boys achieved their first-ever No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 for their disco-pop track Dynamite along with two more No. 1's for Savage Love (BTS Remix) and Life Goes On. Let's not forget their first-ever Grammy nomination in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
While BTS ARMY is eagerly awaiting for the septet's next comeback and for them to commence on a world tour, after the pandemic, of course, OT7 made history yet again. US magazine Esquire recently listed their 10 Best Pop Bands of All Time. The list included the most glorious, revered and record-breaking pop bands of all time. One amongst these legendary bands was BTS and what makes their achievement even more special is that BTS are the only Korean, Asian and even the youngest artists to make it to the coveted list.
What is also amazing is that BTS find themselves on the same list as legendary groups like The Beatles and Queen. Also included in the list are The Supremes, Fleetwood Mac, Sly & the Family Stone, The Beach Boys, ABBA, The Temptations and Destiny's Child.
It's indeed another impressive feather being added to BTS' tall hat of countless milestones deservedly achieved!
