BTS host an OT7 Vlive to celebrate the release of BE Essential Edition

BTS released their much-awaited BE: Essential Edition today! BE: Essential Edition is a complimentary version of their 2020 hope-filled and positive album, BE: Deluxe Edition. BE, released on November 20, 2020, and was the fifth Korean-language (ninth overall) studio album by the superstar septet. The main crux of the album was to spread messages of love, hope, and positivity during the pandemic-induced global lockdown. BE contains 8 songs with the main tracks Dynamite and Life Goes On, earning the coveted number one spot on Billboard Hot 100.

Now, almost three months later, BTS members have released a new version of BE, which is BE: Essential Edition. To celebrate this, they hosted an OT7 Vlive, their first in many months. The members joked with one another, discussed making new music together, and also promised to do more Vlive sessions, both as a group and individually too. They ended their Vlive sessions by saying 'Saranghae (I love you) to ARMY.

Since its release, BE: Essential Edition has been making new records. According to @charts_k BE (Essential Edition) has now surpassed Love Yourself: Her’s first day sales on Hanteo to become the group's 4th biggest first day on Hanteo overall. BTS is also scheduled to take centre-stage on MTV Unplugged, where they will be performing rare renditions of their discography. BTS's special performance on MTV Unplugged will release on February 24 at 7 am IST.
