Mohit Suri’s love saga ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ starring Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi in the lead has opened decently at the box office. The film collected 5.04 crore on its opening day, more than the collections of Hollywood release ‘Jurassic World’.

Though the critics have panned the movie, it is expected to pick up on the weekends given that the film has received some positive word of mouth from the audience.

Meanwhile, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ is steady at the box office and has earned 2.25 crore on its second Friday, making a total of 57 crore (source: Box Office India). Given that there are two big releases this week – HAK and Jurassic World, it would be interesting to see how DDD performs.

Kangana-Madhavan’s ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ is consistent even in its fourth week. TWMR has grossed 1.25 crore on its fourth Friday, though it has competition from three releases – DDD, HAK and Jurassic World and is heading towards 150 crore (source: Box Office India).
