Box Office Report: Wazir Shows Good Growth on Saturday
Wazir had a somewhat slow start on its Day 1 at the box office when it had ticketed INR 5.25 crores at the Domestic Window. The movie however saw a decent growth on its 1st Saturday making about INR 7 crores. Post a growth of 35%, the 2 Day total of the film now stands at INR 12.25 crores.
Directed by Bejoy Nambiar Wazir stars Amitabh Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar, Aditi Rao Hydari and Neil Nitin Mukesh with a cameo played by John Abraham. The film which received mixed reviews by the critics, might actually see some more growth today. It should look at a 1st weekend collection of about INR 20 crores.
So far the film has been doing well in Mumbai, Delhi, UP and Mysore. The film seems to be doing way better at the multiplexes when compared to single screen theaters owing to its target audience.
