Box Office Report: ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ does good business on Day 2
Luv Ranjan’s ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ is doing pretty good business at the box office. On day 2 the film collected Rs 7 crore and now it’s total collection stands at Rs 12.75 cr (Friday – Rs 5.75 cr, Saturday Rs 7 cr).
The second day business of this multi-starrer film has seen a healthy growth of 22%. As per reports by Box Office India, the film has done good business in East Punjab and Delhi city areas. However, the film lags behind with poor collections from the Gujarat/Saurashtra belt.
‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ stars Kartik Aaryan, Omkar Kapoor, Nushrat Bharucha, Sonnalli Seygall, Ishita Sharma and Sunny Singh and is a sequel to the 2011 film ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’.
With no other big release this week, ‘PKP2’ might have a good week 1 collection until perhaps Vikas Bahl’s, Shahid Kapoor- Alia Bhatt-starrer Dussehra release ‘Shaandaar’ hits the screens.
