Box Office Report: ‘SIB’ collections drop further on Tuesday; ‘Talvar’ collections stay steady
Akshay Kumar-Amy Jackson-Lara Dutta starrer ‘Singh is Bliing’ collections face a 15% drop at the box office on Tuesday. Prabhudheva’s ‘SIB’ collected only Rs 4.50 crore on Day 5. The film’s total collection stands at Rs 55 crore (Friday – Rs. 18.25 cr, Saturday – Rs. 12.50 cr, Sunday – Rs. 14.50 cr, Monday – Rs 5.25 cr, Tuesday – Rs 4.50 cr).
Though the film got a good opening, a Box Office India report states that ‘Singh is Bliing’s week one collection will be around Rs 62.50 crore, seeing the total collection in five days.
On the other hand, Irrfan Khan-Konkona Sen Sharma’s ‘Talvar’ is going steady at the box office. The film maintained same collections as on Monday. ‘Talvar’ collected Rs 1.65 cr on Tuesday and now the total collection stands at Rs 12.30 cr (Thursday - 50,00,000 (paid previews), Friday – Rs. 2.50 cr, Saturday – Rs. 2.75 cr, Sunday – Rs 3.25 cr, Monday – Rs. 1.65 cr, Tuesday – Rs. 1.65 cr).
