Box Office Report: ‘Hero’ collects Rs 6.85 crore on Day 1
Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty have passed the acid test at the box office as their film collected Rs 6.85 cr on Day 1!
Their debut film ‘Hero’ has become the second highest debutante film at the Indian box office. It has ranked second to Karan Johar's ‘Student Of The Year’, which collected Rs 9.25 crore on Day 1.
Nikhil Advani’s film is also doing good business across the country and has beaten many films like ‘Drishyam’,’Piku’, ‘Bombay Velvet’ and ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ with the box office collection.
The film has outperformed several star films in cities like Mumbai, Rajasthan and has a great start in the overseas market, especially UAE. The film is being loved for the chemistry between the leads, the soundtrack, and the larger than life action.
Salman Khan’s home production is expected to deliver strong numbers on the weekend.
