Box Office Report: ‘Phantom’ makes decent business on Monday; collects Rs 37.25 crore

Kabir Khan’s ‘Phantom’ had a decent Monday collection. The film has collected Rs 37.25 crore in four days. (Friday – 8.25 crore, Saturday – 12.75 crore, Sunday – 12 crore, Monday – 4.25 crore).

Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer 'Phantom' had a slow start at the box office, but the film picked up pace in the evening shows on Friday and Rakhi weekend. The movie has become the seventh highest opener of 2015 and has crossed the opening weekend collections of films like 'Baby' and 'Drishyam'.

In the overseas market, ‘Phantom’ didn’t release in Pakistan and collection in Nepal is at a standstill due to earthquake, however, the film did average business in UK, US, Gulf and Austria. The collection from the overseas market is about Rs 9.96 crore.

Directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, 'Phantom', starring Katrina Kaif and Saif Ali Khan released on August 28, 2015. The film is based on Hussain Zaidi's book 'Mumbai Avengers'.
