Box Office Report: ‘Phantom’ collects Rs 8.25 crore on Day 1
Kabir Khan’s ‘Phantom’ had a decent opening on Day 1. As per Box Office India report, the film made a total collection of Rs. 8.25 crore.
After a blockbuster ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, which ranks no. 1 in this year’s box office report as per the opening day collection (Rs 26.67 crore), Phantom has recorded the eight highest opening day of the year.
Initial box office reports stated that Phantom has not taken off to a great start and trade analysts mentioned that the business picked up in the evenings. With a Rakhi weekend, it can be expected that ‘Phantom’ may pick up.
‘Phantom’ stars Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead and is based on Hussain Zaidi's book Mumbai Avengers on the aftermath of 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
