Box Office Report: ‘Brothers’ collects Rs 52.08 crore; a highest weekend collection for Akshay
This week’s release ‘Brothers’ got an excellent collection. The film's weekend numbers stand like this: Friday Rs 15.2 crore, Saturday Rs 21.43 crore and Sunday Rs 15.45 crore. Now, the total collection stands Rs 52.08 crore.
This is Akshay Kumar's highest weekend and also for Sidharth Malhotra. The audience reactions to ‘Brothers’ have been very positive.
The film took an almost 40% jump on day 2, given that it was a National holiday on account of Independence Day. With this collection 'Brothers' records the second highest opening weekend of 2015 - the first spot being held by 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' which collected Rs. 102.6 crores.
