Box Office Report: ‘Brothers’ collects Rs 15.20 crore on opening day

Akshay Kumar-Sidharth Malhotra starrer ‘Brothers’ collected around Rs. 15.20 crore on its opening day.
Friday morning was a decent start with a 35% opening and in the evening it got a 40-50% opening. Trade Analyst, Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Brothers Fri Rs 15.20 cr. India biz... Expect GOOD jump in biz today [Independence Day holiday].”
With Independence Day weekend falling, the figures are expected to rise. With a collection of Rs 15.2 crore, ‘Brothers’ got the second highest opening of the year. ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ collected Rs 27.25 crore on its opening days.
Karan Malhotra’s film also starred Jacqueline Fernandez, Jackie Shroff, Ashutosh Rana and Shefali Shah.
