BIG Naughty navigates youth, love and regret through sonic masterpieces in debut EP Bucket List

K-Hip Hop phenomenon BIG Naughty has been on music lovers’ radars worldwide for quite a while now and this young genius has now officially dropped his debut EP, ‘Bucket List’, finally putting to full display, his artistic faculties in free-play. He is signed to Jay Park’s company H1GHR Music Records, which truly speaks of Jay’s eye for game-changing talent because BIG Naughty is definitely here to stay and his music is nothing like anything we’ve ever heard before.

Bucket List was released on the 25th of February, 2021 at 6 PM KST, accompanied by a thrilling cybercrime-themed music video for the title track ‘Joker’ featuring JAMIE. The album revolves around BIG Naughty’s coming of age as he navigates a world that is nothing close to how he’d like it to be. Emotions are ripe and his expressions of the same are too, amplified by the perfect roster of featuring artists ranging from JAMIE to GSoul, Wonstein, SOLE, Rohann, Wonstein, Paloalto, Minit, Cosmic Boy, Coogie, GRAY, PEEJAY, and DPR CREAM. There is a subtle change of subject midway and yet, the theme remains consistent. From longing for lost love to braving the future with gusto, this EP is the perfect combination of all things youth.

The tracklist includes title songs ‘Joker (Ft. JAMIE)’ and ‘Brand New World (Feat. Rohann) (Prod. PEEJAY)’; ‘Frank Ocean (Feat. SOLE) (Prod. Cosmic Boy)’, ‘Girl At The Coffee Shop (Feat. Wonstein) (Prod. PEEJAY)’, ‘10 Years Later (Feat. Paloalto) (Prod. Minit)’, ‘Bravo (Feat. Coogie, GSoul) (Prod. GRAY)’ and the eponymous ‘Bucket List (Prod. DPR CREAM)’, covering a varied range of genres.

All the artwork for the EP was created by BIG Naughty himself according to the inspiration evoked by each individual song. This release was prefaced by a genius collaboration with Seongsu Museum in Seoul, where BIG Naughty launched an exhibition of his art. Ongoing from now till April 30th, the interactive exhibition will allow visitors to colour the drawings in as they please.
