Benedict Cumberbatch has a rather confusing reply to Doctor Strange's WandaVision cameo rumours
Benedict Cumberbatch was recently asked about the speculations of his Marvel character appearing in WandaVision, check out what he had to say.
Marvel is well-known for keeping its viewers hooked and confused when it comes to Easter eggs. From their post-credit hints to blink-and-miss cameos, only an attentive viewer can spot the spoilers. As for their recent series WandaVision, the show has been garnered with a lot of praises, but a lingering question remained if Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange will make a cameo on the show. Recently, as the actor appeared on Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Cumberbatch decided to address the rumours.
Considering keeping Marvel secrets safe is the main job for an actor working with the studio, Benedict managed to dodge Jimmy Fallon's question on WandaVision appearance quite coyly. The actor decided to confuse his fans as he said, "If, it didn't happen. Then, I'm sorry about that. If it did, hell, what a lot to look forward to. But if it didn't, um, I don't know why."

Whilst trying to articulate a spoiler-free answer to the question, Cumberbatch also joked about fellow Marvel star Tom Holland as he said, "I can feel the Tom Holland in me coming out." While we haven't yet figured out the truth behind Cumberbatch's WandaVision cameo, we do know that the actor will be seen reprising his role as Doctor Strange in the upcoming film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The film is being helmed by Sam Raimi who previously directed Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man franchise. The makers have remained tight-lipped about what we can expect from this project and only once it hits the theatres in 2022 can fans begin to weave new theories around it.
