A.C.E makes history as the group enters Billboard Dance/Electronic Chart at number 12
A.C.E has officially entered the Billboard Charts!
On the 21st of January, the agency Beat Interactive announced that the new single 'Fav Boyz' by A.C.E took 12th place in the US Billboard Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales Chart.
This is the first time that A.C.E has been listed on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Chart. It was recorded as the fourth ever K-POP artist to enter the chart after BTS, Monsta X, and Blackpink, and the 12th place on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Chart is the third highest-ranking after BTS and Blackpink.
In particular, it is surprising in that it was achieved after an intense competition in the local market with numerous American artists. 'Fav Boyz' reached 4th place on the world digital song sales chart as well as the dance/electronic digital song sales chart, breaking its own top ranking. This is the second K-Pop song following BTS' 'Life Goes On' to do so, and it ranked higher than the new K-Pop songs released this week.
A.C.E's new single 'Fav Boyz', which was released through music sites around the world on the 8th, is a remix of the title track 'Favorite Boys' from the fourth mini-album 'Favorite Boys' released in September of last year. World-famous DJ Steve Aoki was in charge of the production, and American rapper Thutmose participated in the rap which ultimately led to it becoming a hot topic in the entertainment industry.
