15 Bollywood films which should have had a different name!
Bollywood films are best remembered for basically few things which include actors, music, story and most importantly the title. While generally, after watching a movie, we feel, a particular actor or actress would have suited better in another film, we wondered what the result would be if we swapped the titles of few films with other movies. And the results were quite stunning.
1. Bajrangi Bhaijaan – Border
With Salman Khan taking the responsibility of dropping the lost girl Harshaali Malhotra aka Munni to her home in Pakistan, we thought that this title would be apt for the movie as it would involve crossing the border and going to the neighbouring country.
2. Drishyam – Aankhen
The meaning of ‘Drishyam’ is to see and hence ‘Aankhen’ fits the bill for this Ajay Devgn thriller!
3. Ram-Leela – Besharam
Given the amount of passionate love Deepika and Ranveer did in the movie, one can only say that the film should have been named ‘Besharam’!
4. Brothers - Badlapur
The upcoming movie starring Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra is a story of two brothers who are seeking revenge from each other. And hence we thinks, 'Badlapur' works as a title for this one.
5. Dil Chahta Hai - Three Idiots
Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Akshaye Khanna entertained us all in ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ and we couldn’t come up with anything better than ‘3 Idiots’!
6. Roy – Gayab
Because in the movie everything was invisible – story, plot and Ranbir Kapoor!
7. Jab Tak Hai Jaan – Ghajini
What befitting name than ‘Ghajini’ for Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’. He also suffered a short term memory loss!
8. Humshakals - Bheja Fry
I am sure there are hordes of people who would agree to this! ‘Humshakals’ indeed fried our brains more than what ‘Bheja Fry’ actually did!
9. Action Jackson - Bang Bang
Ajay Devgn was on a killing spree in this movie and all we saw was explosion and murder!
10. Besharam – Bewakoofiyaan
Ranbir Kapoor’s biggest ‘bewakoofi’, probably bigger than ‘Bombay Velvet’ too!
11. Grand Masti - Tom Dick and Harry
Three married men obsessed with sex and hence we thought this would be the best name for the film.
12. Anjaana Anjaani – Highway
Since Priyanka and Ranbir enjoyed their road trip in the film, we thought why not name this one as ‘Highway’.
13. Highway - NH 10
All the highways in India look the same – be it the one in Alia starrer or in the Anushka's movie.
14. Boss – Tevar
Akshay Kumar in ‘Boss’ had his own style and ‘Tevar’!
15. Raees – Guru
Last but not the least, Shah Rukh Khan will entertain us in ‘Raees’ and going with tag line we couldn’t think of a better title than Abhishek Bachchan’s ‘Guru’!
Tell us if you can think of some more interesting combinations in the comments below!
