Winter is the worst weather when it comes to your body and health. With numerous health problems and conditions that come along with the weather, it always feels like you're sick and low. Your hands and feet suffer the most. It always feels like they are just freezing and the chilly weather eventually takes a toll on them. We all just want to curl up inside a comforter to keep them warm and cosy but let's be real, we can't always do that! This harsh weather does impact them which is why we all need a special routine to care for our feet during this harsh weather. The feet takes all the load and carries us around from one place to another. However, if we don't take proper care of them, the weather will turn the dry feet to cracked feet and cause numerous other skincare problems. Our feet need special care during winters and if you've been ignoring them until now, it's time you start following a special winter skincare routine.

Here are some winter feet care tips for beautiful feet

1. Soak your feet in warm water for up to 15 minutes. Ensure that the water is not too hot and add some Epsom salt or some shower gel in the water before you soak them. This softens the skin on your feet and makes it easier to remove the dead skin and rough skin as well.

2. After soaking your feet in warm water, dry it and then exfoliate it with a scrub. If not then you can also lather up some shower gel and then gently rub it with a pumice stone. This helps remove dead skin cells and softens up the rough skin.

3. Do not forget the importance of a good moisturizing foot mask for your feet. Take 4 tablespoons of honey and mix it with 1 spoon of crushed banana and add a few drops of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Now mix it well and make a smooth paste. Apply this hydrating mask on your feet and let it stay for up to 10 minutes before washing with lukewarm water.

4. Your skin can get dry and rough during this weather and it's essential to keep your skin nourished and moisturized. Don't forget to moisturize it. Take some olive oil or petroleum jelly and gently rub it all over your feet and massage them. Don't miss out the heels because they're more prone to dry and cracked skin. Moisturize your feet and wear a pair of soft socks before you go to bed daily.

5. Don't forget to clip your toenails. It is essential to chop your toenails from time to time or else they may cause a lot of trouble. Your toenails can cause your warm socks to tear and also poke against the shoe and cause a lot of pain.
